About This Project

«Singolare/Seriale»

In an age in which images multiply and resemble one another, this project explores the relationship between identity, memory, and visual representation. Through a dialogue between female portraits, bearers of history, presence, and difference, and animal figures repeated in sequence, the work highlights the tension between uniqueness and seriality.

The project invites viewers to rediscover a slow and attentive gaze, to distinguish between seeing and looking, and to recognize painting as a space capable of preserving narratives, cultural differences, and personal meanings.
